Music is a big part of my life, I play piano, sing and have dabbled with various other instruments throughout my life.  I love to incorporate musical activities into my childrens’ lives as well, and find every opportunity to do so.  We recently received a toy called a Meowsic to review for our Gift guide, and I knew right away that my youngest son would be spending hours playing with said toy.  And he surely has.  I love this little cat shaped keyboard, it plays various tunes, and also allows for creative free play as well.  A microphone is attached to the keyboard as well for sing-a-long fun, and a recording feature can be utilized to compose original works, and play them back.  I can’t say enough about this keyboard, I think it’s actually one of the toys I’ll be secretly playing with myself. Here are some specifics on the Meowsic:

Remember, Mozart may have been playing piano by the age of three, but he never mastered being you!

  • 5 instruments & 5 rhythm sounds
  • 20 familiar songs
  • 7 witty kitty songs
  • Retractable sing-along mic
  • Lyrics included
  • Control volume, beat & tempo
  • B. forgetful. Meowsic purrs itself off with an auto-off feature!
  • Appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and LIVE! With Regis & Kelly
  • Top 10 Disney 2010 FamilyFun Toy of the Year (T.O.Y.)
  • Parent Tested Parent Approved 1st Place Winner
  • Dr. Toy “Best Pick”

To learn more about the Meowsic Keyboard, or any of the other creative toys from B. Lively, explore their site, or find many of the toys at Target stores.

Thanks to B. Lively for the Meowsic Keyboard at no cost to us for review purposes, I am expressing my own opinions.

This is cute, so different then the keyboards I have seen before. I love the Take It Easel they have.
