Happy 10th Birthday Seth.. Hope all your dreams come true.
Happy Tenth Birthday Seth. God truly has plans for you.
When I was a nurse, I took care of a little boy through a home health agency whose mom had the same problem of losing her fluid. However,
no one realized it because she was living in another country at the time.
Her little boy couldn’t move around once the fluid was gone and so ended up in a very contracted state inside the flattened womb. His bones forms in strange stiffened ways. It caused the ribs and back to be too tight around the lungs. He had to be put on a ventilator. His arms, hand, fingers, hips, legs, ankles and feet were all contracted in strange positions. He needed therapy for everything. With a lot of care we finally taught his lungs to breath enough for him and taught him to eat when he was about seven years old. So we got him off the ventilator and feeding tube. I know after nurses were no longer needed that he still got physical therapy. I know at some point as he grows he’ll need a surgery to break ribs so he’ll have room for his lungs to grow and such. We did help to lessen the contractures some with off and on every two hours splinting procedures. However this boy is still wheelchair bound. This little guy is behind in school, but he was often very ill from respiratory infections and even hospitalizations from such.
I think you were very lucky for the Doctor to deliver Seth early.
Happy Birthday Seth
