I am a breastfeeding advocate 100%, and have nursed three out of my four children.  I have experienced tandem nursing, as well as nursing my babies through toddlerhood.  I am not judgmental in any form or fashion towards those that don’t or can’t breastfeed.  It’s definitely a personal choice, and is not an “easy” task by any means.  I thank my Mom for her many times of encouraging help and information regarding breastfeeding mostly due to her being a La Leche League Leader through the late seventies, and early eighties.

When breastfeeding, there are options available to Mothers, such as pumping their milk to leave for baby when need be.  I didn’t use a pump much with my oldest son, except to increase my milk supply in the very beginning.  To be quite honest, he never took a bottle, ever.  My last two children I have utilized a pump more often.  I have pumped for various occasions when I’ve left them overnight, thankful for the pumped milk I left for them, as well as for the relief the pump provided while I was away from them.

That being said, I was thrilled to receive the Simplisse Breast Pump, as well as all of their accompanying breastfeeding products.  I personally haven’t used the pump, as my youngest is mostly weaned at this time, but I do plan on this pump getting excellent use. And no, I’m not currently pregnant, lol.  I will share some of the information I’ve found about Simplisse and their products.  Here are a few more “facts” on the Simplisse:

A new brand and a patented new technology for expressing breastmilk.

Specially designed for the health of mom and baby during breastfeeding, Simplisse is the only complete line of breast pumps, breastfeeding accessories, skincare products, and nutrient supplements. Our products are developed and produced by a team of lactation consultants and moms, to naturally support the positive bond between moms, babies and breastfeeding.

The thing that I really love about Simplisse, is that it’s made by Mom’s for Mom’s, who else knows better than a fellow breastfeeding peer?  Another advantage to the Simplisse pump is the affordability.  The Pump retails around $35.00, which is extremely doable for most families.  The Simplisse is a simple manual handpump that simulates babies suckling, to make for an easy letdown and flow of milk.  Simplisse also carries these other amazing breastfeeding products:

Simplisse is kindly offering one of my readers a chance to win a pump, along with a nice selection of other breastfeeding accessories.  Not only would this be perfect for any nursing Mom, but for a baby shower gift as well.

To Enter, tell me who the recipient of the pump and accessories would be.

I have a Pump in Style, but for quick overnight trips (or a couple of days) this would be great, so I don’t have to lug my big pump around. Owen is mostly weaned at this point (well, once a day counts, right?) but you never know if we’ll have another baby… :)

I would love a chance to try this for my two month old (exclusively BF right now). I saw it in Babies R Us today, was really intrigued by the design and found this while searching for reviews. :)

I could REALLY use this. I have another pump but need something for when I am out and about. I am due to give birth in June to my second surrogate son. Just as I did after my first surrogate son, I will be pumping and donating my milk to two families in need. I’d love a pump to leave at home and then one to take with me when I go to see family, friends, etc. :)

THANK YOU!!!

I would love to be able to give this pump a try. I was not able to nurse with my first due to a medical condition but would love the chance to be able to do so with my second.

I am a soon to be mom and have a lot of anxiety about breast feeding. I have been reading so much to figure out how to ensure everything is positive from the start. My biggest concern is returning to work and needing to pump. We are hoping to have more children, so this pump will get a lot of use. Everything I have read about this breast pump has been so positive and I truly think it would help in providing that positive experience. I would love this pump! I follow you through Google Buzz. Thanks for this awesome opportunity.
