Have you ever had a day where you wake up and feel like a fog has been lifted? Or like suddenly your eyes are opened for the first time in a long time? I’m having that kind of day today, a reckoning of sorts. All of a sudden I am motivated to accomplish tasks that normally are invisible to me. I cleaned my nightstand off, and for such a small piece of furniture, it sure contained a lot of junk. To be exact, 14 magazines, and 12 books, oh yeah and a couple of sippy cups.
Now I’m on a mission to find a piece of paper that I’ve misplaced. I’ve got the feeling that if I don’t find it something in me won’t let me rest until it’s found. And to be honest, I wouldn’t have lost the stupid piece of paper if I had taken care of it in December, yeah I’m also a procrastinator. Gosh, this blog is really bringing out all of my weaknesses lately. I’m heading off to track down a single sheet of paper, but hopefully I’ll be back…..
And, I threw in the picture of my son just for the heck of it, has nothing to do with this post, lol.
Anyone have a clue where I should look for this piece of paper? And, does anyone else ever have random days like this?

First, I think the picture totally depicts how you are feeling in this post. Bright beautiful day.
I have these days from time to time. Random motivation that comes out of nowhere and is like a slap in the face. LOL!!
As far as your piece of paper. No idea! If it’s from December then I shall cross all fingers and toes that it didn’t get thrown out. Maybe a book or a drawer or a pocket? haha.
Look in the places you keep things for “safe keeping” ….. it might be there.
Thanks Alex and Megan, I still haven’t found it!
I’m really afraid that I might have thrown it away.
Yes, I do. Keep it up, you will find it. Maybe inside one of those books or magazines?
Have you looked in your Bible? BTW, Tristan looks great on riding bareback! Wow!!! Give him a kiss from his 2nd fave aunt!!!
yeah, I myself have gone through this today… I feel like I have accomplished things, cleaning out an entire bedroom. and doing a complete touch up paint in the entire downstairs of my house!
Do you have a drawer where you put the phone book. Sometimes I put pieces of paper there and say I’ll come back to them.
I also found a paper that once fell behind my computer table.
I looked high and low for it and it just fell behind the table.
I usually go-with-the-flow when those cleaning/organizing moods come. It’s healthy to allow yourself to act on what your mind is leading you to do…well, unless it’s something like rob a bank, kill your spouse, or jump off a building. Anyway, you know what I mean.
The best thing I’ve ever done to find lost items is ask my kids; they always seem to know where every little thing is…and, strangely, how they got there.
