You’ve heard my thoughts on Leap Frog, and their highly educational toys for children. I really appreciate and enjoy the way that Leap Frog can help a child learn while still allowing them to have fun. The Zippity is the perfect example of a Leap Frog System that includes learning fun, and physical activity.

The Zippity is an interactive learning system that works by utilizing the system with your television. You can choose from various games that would be suitable for either boys or girls. The Zippity is suggested for children ages 3-5. Here is a little more information about the Zippity:
Bring Playhouse Disney to your house with Zippity, the new high-energy learning system that gets preschoolers dancing, jumping, playing and learning with Disney characters they love! The Zippity system introduces preschool curriculum through full-body play and learning. Using the interactive bopper and mat, children can stomp, swing, bop and march, driving the learning with their arms and legs!
The Zippity system comes with eight built-in games featuring the popular Playhouse Disney characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Little Einsteins and Handy Manny. All eight built-in learning activities bring the characters to life on your TV through high-quality animations and feature two levels of play for hours of active learning fun.
A built-in Learning Path lets parents see the skills their child is exploring as they play, or parents can create a personal LeapFrog® Learning Path online for more in-depth insights and learning ideas.

Not only did Leap Frog send my children a Zippity to try out, but one of my lucky readers will win a Zippity Learning System as well!

Even though it’s not technically a ‘holiday’ movie, my favorite is The Wizard of Oz. When my children were young, this movie was shown on TV only on holidays. Now it’s on every other week! The cartoon version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is my favorite ‘Christmas’ holiday movie.
My favorite childhood holiday movie was Home Alone. I thought it was hilarious (and heartwarming) and still do.
My favorite childhood Holiday movie was Frosty The Snowman.
