Safe Driving & Talking With Parrot

minikit

I am a cell phone addict, sadly to say.  I love to text, facebook, tweet, talk, and anything else that is capable on my iPhone.  So, when I received the Parrot MiniKit Chic hands-free device for talking in your car, I was excited to put it to the test.  I generally chat with my Mom, Hubby, or friends while driving the 40 mile roundtrip to take my kiddos to school daily, and the Parrot makes this not only easier, but safer.  I don’t believe that Oklahoma has a law regarding talking on your cell phone while driving as of yet, but I’m sure that it will come into effect eventually, and why not go ahead and keep your hands free while driving.

First of all, I love the fact that this Parrot MiniKit Chic is made for busy Mom’s on the go, and is a stylishly sleek color, and design.  I also appreciate that the setup of this system is so simple that even my son could do it by himself!  Any phone that has bluetooth compatibility is able to setup with this system.  I can easily clip the Parrot to my visor, and I enjoy the noise reduction system while talking, and enjoy listening to mp3 music on it as well.  What’s not to like about the Parrot Minikit Chic?

Not only have I thoroughly been using the heck out of my Minikit chic, but Parrot is generously offering one of my readers a Kit of their own.  (Just make sure your cell is bluetooth compatible)

I like it because it looks so easy to use! I get stuckk all to often talkin oon the phone in the car, this would be so much safer and easier than using the speaker phone laying on my lap.

Thank you!

user-defined voiceprints are a great idea and as it is against the law to use a phone unless you have a handsfree in our state

Oh my goodness, you’ve ridden with me! You know I need hands-free!!! Lol!

Seriously, that is my favorite aspect. I just need a good hands-free device that is EASY to use.

8 ShaRhonda October 29, 2009 at 3:52 pm

It uses its ownvoice recognition feature, not the phone’s, so you don’t have to touch your phone while driving. How cool is that. We both know that I need this! So cool!

I like that you can trust them with reception issues.

17 Rosey November 1, 2009 at 9:20 am

I like that you can trust them with reception issues. This win would benefit me because I currently get lousy reception with just my phone.

Please delete comment #16 that I just posted, as I forgot to put the second half of my entry. Thank you!

In our county you can only speak on your cell using a hands free device so this definitely would help with those commutes!

23 Diane Baum November 2, 2009 at 3:19 pm

My fave is the parriot blue tooth.

24 Steve Stavlo November 3, 2009 at 5:15 pm

I like the fact that its hands free, nothing stuck in my ear!

25 Susan C November 4, 2009 at 12:19 am

I like the Parrot’s good looks! I would benefit by this because I would give it to my daughter. She talks on the phone when driving and it scares the heck out of me! She’s an adult so there is not much I can do (except nag or win this).

the Minikit Chic with the floral pattern

27 Jessica Wilde November 6, 2009 at 3:01 pm

It recognizes your voice, and attaches to your sun roof.

28 Andrea November 6, 2009 at 8:32 pm

I love how the Parrot products help make you a safer driver. I love to talk on the phone whilst driving to defeat boredom. Though I put it on speaker on the seat next to me and the people have issues hearing me. This would be a huge help.

I like the fact that Parrot products clip to your visor. No falling into the floor or fumbling to find the phone.

35 Danielle November 9, 2009 at 12:17 am

i like how it is hands free. In california we have a hands free law and i dont have anything hands free. I would hate to think what would happen in an emergency without one!

I like the fact that their product are stylish and small. This would benefit me because right now I have my kids answer the phone and talk for me when I am driving, and they don’t always do a good job.

:) Thank you for the wonderful giveaway! :)

42 Dree November 10, 2009 at 8:31 pm

I like that it is on the car’s sun visor. I would benefit since I can’t hold a phone and drive at the same time.

43 Joseph November 10, 2009 at 8:56 pm

I like that the PARROT minikit chic is portable and also compatible with iPhone, this way I can it with me from my work car to my personal car as needed. I travel for work and I’m on the road all week long. With its bluetooth hands free feature I can still conduct business calls while driving to my next client meeting.

44 L.D. November 10, 2009 at 11:08 pm

I am not technically gifted so the fact that it is easy to set up is what is the most appealing aspect of this to me.

45 Janette November 11, 2009 at 12:41 am

I love how sleek and stylish they are! Parrot products seem like a simple and chic way to become safer while in the car!

I like that Parrot products are user-friendly! I’d love to have the Parrot MiniKit Chic since it’s so small I can take it everywhere with me & also drive safer!

48 Kirsten November 11, 2009 at 10:23 am

Parrot Products blow me away. They have advanced technology and style. I would live this because my husband’s driving terrifies me and anything I can do to make it safer for him brings me peace of mind.

49 Kirsten November 11, 2009 at 10:25 am
50 Ericka November 11, 2009 at 10:32 am

I like that it has its own voice recognition feature, I would benefit from this because
being a mother of 3 and always need my cell on me this would be way safer to use in my vehicle.
